Bradford Open For Art 2012

Bradford Open for Art 2012 is a Bradford district-wide art event taking place between Saturday 2nd and Tuesday 5th June 2012 that will allow the creative makers of the area the opportunity to showcase their many talents. It will offer visitors the chance to discover, enjoy and buy art at Artists' Open Studios throughout the area, via a range of Art and Craft fairs, Open Art Exhibitions and Art and Craft Workshops as well as visiting the galleries and museums of the area! Historical Jousting at Leeds Castle

An action packed week of medieval activity and entertainment at Leeds Castle June 1 to 6. “Jousting at the Field of the Cloth of Gold” features fearless knights on horseback performing daredevil stunts, fights and falls in an authentic jousting arena against the historic backdrop of medieval Leeds Castle near Maidstone, Kent. In addition to the twice daily jousts there’ll be historical activities for children including archery and an exciting new World of Wings free flying bird displays. Tickets cost £17.50 for Adults; £15.00 for Senior Citizens and visitors with disabilities (carer goes free); £10.00 for Children (under 4’s free). Every ticket to Leeds Castle is valid for 12 months.
