Sanctuary was great - once upon a time
- I used to love the Sanctuary in Covent Garden, London. Aside from the joys of swimiming naked in the pool and the really fascinating layout, it had such a relaxed vibe. Went back recently to find that they're packing in the punters, hawking products and I had my pedicure in something like a car re-spray shop with lots of chemical smells around. I prefer my spas to be tranquil.

Ragdale is fab
- I love the swimming pool at Ragdale Hall near Leicester. It has a waterfall and a jacuzzi and is huge and peaceful. In the women's only area, they also have a very cold plunge pool outside the sauna that absolutely wakes you up. It's wonderful going to dinner there in a dressing gown, your head wrapped in a towel and wearing floppy slippers. Great place.
