In the Shadow of Windsor Castle

The Windsor Festival, every September, is a mixed festival of high-toned events including:
  • all kinds of music - from jazz and choral music to opera and chamber music
  • literary talks and readings by leading authors, poets and public figures
  • Walks and tours highlighting everything from churches and ghosts to Eton College and Windsor Great Park - the Queen's back yard so to speak.
The festival is a good way for visitors to discover that there is more to Windsor than Windsor Castle.
