White Air at Brighton
People often call Brighton "London's Beach" because it is only 60 miles (or 50 minutes by train) from the Capital. There's no question Brighton is a beach town with an urban vibe. So it's entirely appropriate that White Air, a hybrid festival where extreme water sports and street sports meet alternative and post punk indie rock, settles across Brighton Beach at Madeira Drive in September. The largest festival of its kind in Europe, with at least 40 extreme sports competitions and thousands of opportunities to try new activities,White Air moves to Brighton in 2009.
