A Celebration of the Celts in Kernow

Kernow is the name of Cornwall in the Cornish language, a version of Celtic. This festival, in its 30th year in 2008, celebrates traditional and contemporary music, stories and songs in the Cornish language. Cornwall's links with other Celtic cultures in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man and Brittany are emphasized with groups and performers arriving from all of those regions.

The festival includes a combination of amateur and professional performances, concerts by leading Celtic bands and singers, a costumed parade, free festival events and ceilidhs.
