This Halloween - or anytime actually, here's where to spot ghosts on the web in the UK:
- Ordsall Hall Ghost Cam This Tudor manor house, with a history going back more than 800 years, was importantly associated with the Radclyffe family for 300 years. Now a museum in the Greater Manchester district of Salford, it has a ghost known as the White Lady who has been seen by many locals. Is she the spirit of Margaret Radclyffe, Queen Elizabeth I's favorite lady in waiting. Or is she the ill fated Viviana, who caught the eye of Guy Fawkes when he visited to plan the Gunpowder Plot.
- Lincoln Ghost Cam a "state-of-the-art" image intensifying camera on the roof of The Old Radion building watches for, among others, the ice cream lady from the old cinema.
- Spookcam at Newsted Abbey, Nottingham A Halloween watch for one of four famous ghosts - Little Sir John, Sophie Hyatt-the White Lady, The Goblin Friar and The Rose Lady (probably hard to spot as she's more famous for her Victorian scent.
- Craig Y Nos Castle has a choice of spooky cams connected to this hotel that was once a TB Sanatorium
- Peterborough Museum Cellar All sorts of ghostly shenanigans have been rumored in this Cambridgeshire museum with a camera actually operated by the local authorities...only at night...
