Folk artists and fans find an eclectic range of music at this small but popular festival in the Shetlands. There's Celtic music, of course (in 2007 Irish star Mary Black was among the headliners) but everything from Klezmer to Bluegrass is in the mix. Groups in 2007 headed to Shetland from places as far afield as Ireland, Canada, the USA, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Spain, and Slovenia.
This festival is a blend of party, ceilidh and hootenany. Don't expect to get any sleep.
