The Blend, an annual music festival in Stirling and the surrounding area, celebrates a wide spectrum of traditionl or "roots" music, from fiery Celtic fiddles to Scotland's own Portugese fado singer. The
Rural Blend, introduced in 2007, features some of the best young traditional musicians and singers, performing in rural settings in the surrounding villages. Killin, Brig O’Turk and Balfron in
Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, are among the locations. The main festival is four days of music in Stirling itself.
