Goodwood Festival of Speed - Motorsport's Ascot

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a chance for motorsport enthusiasts to watch classic vehicles from all eras and all classes show off what they can do. It's a rally where you might see an exhibition of off road driving by a tanker truck, or a screaming uphill rally and a demonstration of sideways driving through the woods.

The cars that participate in this weekend of motor mayhem include:

  • Formula One Current cars from top teams including Ferrari, Honda, McLaren, Red Bull, Renault, Toyota and Williams, plus classic cars from the 1950s to the 1990s
  • Le Mans Current contenders plus classics from Bentley, Alfa Romeo, Delahaye, sports cars from Jaguar, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari Testa Rossa, Porsche
  • World Rallying cars Showing off what they can do on the hillclimb course and the Forest Rally Stage. Current contenders plus classics and rallying greats of the past
  • Indy 500 A selection of some of the most celebrated cars from Indianapolis including pre-war Millers and Duesenbergs, front engined Watson and Epperleys and Lotus
  • Bergspyders and Endurance Road Racers Classics from the great road races such as the Mille Miglia, Targa Florio and Carrera Panamerica.
Plus, touring cars; hot rods, salt flat racers, dragsters and land speed record cars; CanAm, TransAm and NASCAR; Titans, Vintage Racers and some quirky precursors from the dawn of motoring.
