Hundreds of thousands of flowers scent the Floral Hall at Scotland's biggest gardening event. A Living Garden area features fruit cages, hives and honeybees. The BBC's gardening experts offer garden advice in the Beechgrove Theatre. In 2007, Scotland's Royal Botanic Garden mounted its most ambitious display, Gardening The Earth, to spotlight its conservation work in 30 countries. Other garden themes trends have spotlighted an increasing trend for grow-your-own and plenty of advice and information for novice gardeners.
