Bands, callers, dance teams, storytellers and singers fill the streets and pubs of the picturesque coastal town of Whitby. There are more than 600 scheduled events including workshops, concerts, singarounds, dances, sessions, street entertainment and spontaneous fringe events.

Billed as the biggest folk event of the year, Whitby Folk Week is a family-friendly event in a remarkable little port - once home of Captain Cook and the place where the fictional Count Dracula first came ashore in England.
