A lot of cities offer city passes with discount and free admission to some or all of their attractions. The trouble with most is that you really have to run around to make the pass worthwhile.
I like the York Pass because York, England - with its Medieval, Viking and Roman history - is a compact walled city, small enough to allow visitors to get their money's worth from the pass, making it a good travel deal. A one day, individual York Pass costs about £21, for example, and you could conceivably visit about £35 worth of attractions without much strain.
