Lady Tjuya and her husband Yuya were a non-royal couple given permission to be buried in the Valley of the Kings. They may have been a queen's parents and inlaws to Pharaoh Amenhotep III. If they were, they would have been Tutankhamun's great-grandparents.

Ancient Egyptian Funerary Mask of the Lady Tjuya, it was made of gilded cartonnage, a form of stiffened bandaging which is still visible on the hair.
