Last month, a lucky 1,900 people were sent invitations like the one pictured above, inviting them to witness the marriage of His Royal Highness Prince William to Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, spinster of Bucklebury, on April 29 at Westminster Abbey.
If you were expecting an invite and haven't received yours yet, time to stop watching the mailbox. Even President Obama and family did not receive the coveted pieces of stiff cardboard.
Rarer still were the 600 invitations to join the Queen and family at Buckingham Palace after for the wedding reception. And even more exclusive - the 300 invitations that went out to the couple's immediate family and intimate friends for the dinner and dance hosted by the Prince of Wales, also at Buck House, in the evening.
Who's Who at the Royal Wedding
The Palace won't be releasing a guest list in advance so you'll just have to join other royal watchers trying to guess who'll be there. But on the next few pages, you can have a look at some members of the wedding party and people who'll be playing important roles on the day.
