Looking occasionally nervous, Catherine Middleton and her father Michael, were carried to the wedding in a specially built, tall Rolls Royce. The car's big windows and sunroof offered those lining the route their first good look at the lace bodice of the bride's elegant dress and the fine silk veil, held in place by a diamond tiara. The tiara was loaned to Kate by the Queen. Known as the "halo" tiara, it dates from the 1930s.
