Warm and cozy for year round camping, with internal, woodburning stove for cooking or heat, the yurts are fully furnished - beds, tables and chairs, lots of cushions for lounging around - and have wood floors. They are the real thing, imported from Mongolia, with elaborate and colorfully painted doors. Pop inside and you can feel like Ghengis Khan and his entourage.
Campsite convenience
Toilets, showers and dishwashing facilities are nearby as are outdoor barbecueing facilities. The campsite also has a small shop for necessities and a clubhouse bar and snack bar. Best of all, it is very well located for the beautiful Jurassic Coast of Dorset as well as such Dorset family attractions as the Abbotsbury Swannery, Farmer Palmer's Farm Park, and Lulworth Castle with its summer family spectacles.
