Mike, a reader from California, grabbed this shot of the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland from an unusual angle. He explains, "I was on a two week tour around the whole island. This picture was taken past the stones on the other side of the bay. The weather was great; we had a good tour guide and driver. I could see Scotland in the far off distance."
Mike compared the causeway to the Devil's Post Pile in the Sierra Madre Mountains near Mammoth Lakes off the John Muir trail in California.
The Giants Causeway is one of the Seven Wonders of the United Kingdom and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. I've never seen the Causeway from this angle before, so thanks Mike/
