The Barley Hall has been restored to reflect its last use as a home in the 15th century. It had been hidden in the center of York for more than 500 years.
The Barley Hall, built and occupied between the 14th and 15th centuries was hidden for more than 500 years under derelict workshops and storehouses. When a derelict office building was demolished, it was discovered in 1984.
