The smallest of the three shops, The Windsor Castle China Shop in on the North Terrace, where visitors exit after viewing the State and Semi-State Apartments. It doesn't actually sell much china, but does carry nifty tin plates printed with reproductions of some of the most colorful patterns exhibited in the castle as well as various items of reproduction jewelry. A stand just outside this shop sells ice cream and bottled water - the only refreshments available within the Castle grounds.
The two other shops ( the Middle Ward Shop and the Lower Ward Shop) carry a variety of interesting souvenir merchandise - jewely, clothing, books, housewares, toiletries, children's gifts - that is fairly priced, along with inexpensive novelties and post cards. Because much of the merchandise is exclusive to Windsor, the shops are good for hunting down unusual party favors and stocking stuffers for the holidays.
