Tune in to Really Cheap Fares
Have you checked out Travelocity's Low Fare Alert? It's a nifty new search tool that helps you zero in on the absolutely lowest fare to the destination you want. Then, when you think you've hit rock bottom, it finds even cheaper fares. I just tried it out on the New York to London route and thought I had a winner with an Air Canada connection through Toronto for $484.29 (including taxes and airport fees). And it wasn't even a last minute deal; there were departure dates well into March. Once I'd selected that fare, the system pointed out that if I switched from JFK to Newark airport, or from Heathrow to Gatwick, I could fly for $450 with several other airlines.Cute. And easy to use. Give Travelocity's Low Fare Alert a spin. Then, if you've got a success story to report, email me to tell the world.
