Stansted is one of London's rapidly growing secondary airports. More than 34 scheduled and charter airlines fly to about 160 destinations in 34 countries. A number of low-cost scheduled airlines have base their operations at Stansted. The new luxury company, EOS, flies to New York from Stansted and MAXjet, the all business class airline, flies to Washington, D.C., and other transatlantic destinations from here.

    • National Express services to several London areas and throughout the country.

Shopping and Dining: For a smaller airport, London Stansted has a surprisingly good selection of shops with most of the high street and airport shop chains represented.

Dining options include a big choice of coffee and sandwich shops, deli, pizza a few pubs and wine bars, all casual and unexceptional.
