More than 100 horticultural nurseries vie for attention and prizes at the North of England's major spring flower show.

Show gardens in the Plant Societies marquee highlight tulips, hostas, and other specialist varieties. There's a student design competition and show gardens from professional designers and colleges. Visitors can attend a garden design clinic or a flower arranging workshop and of course there's plenty to buy and to eat.
