William Morris's Gardens Still "Clothe" The Red House

William Morris believed that gardens should be used to "clothe" a house and he designed the gardens of The Red House for that purpose. Although the house was sold to a family who kept it for more than 150 years, the main features of Morris's original landscaping have been maintained.
