Why not? Visitors to York come from all over the world so the organisers of York's Christmas festivities decided to Yuletide York add some international flair to the many events that turn York into a kind of "Christmas central" in the UK.
What can you buy?:
Expect to find traditional Christmas arts and crafts from all over the world as well as a huge assortment of continental delicacies whipped up by chefs in traditional costumes. There will be music, lovely holiday lights and characters from York's Christmas panto will be out and about, greeting visitors.
