Highlights include chalets and an ice skating rink:
Winchester Cathedral's Christmas market in 2006 was so successful it seems to be becoming an annual event. In 2007 the market included 80 Chalet-style stalls and 113 exhibitors as well as a food court, a Nativity scene and a Father Christmas Grotto. Market traders sell all kinds of festive merchandise - local and international crafts, jewelry, clothing, herbal products, candles, sweets, baked goods and locally made food products. And the whole thing is wrapped in the arms of a Cathedral dated to before the year 650.
