Britain staged some amazing parties in the summer of 2012. Besides the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the London 2012 Olympics, it was James Bond's 50th Birthday, Charles Dicken's 200th, the summer of the London 2012 Festival, the International Shakespeare Festival, the culmination of the countrywide Cultural Olympiad and more.
