Medieval War Horses Return to the Field at the Royal Armouries, Leeds

After resting all winter, the war horses of the Royal Armouries in Leeds are back performing in the museum's Tiltyard this week. The horses and their knights perform up to seven times a day from now throughout the summer.
Falconry shows, with the Royal Armouries' birds of prey, begin later this month on the 26.
And, if you are heading up to Leeds, there is still time to catch the Royal Armouries special exhibition of The Chronicles of Froissart with first hand reports of the hundred year's war, beautiful illustrated manuscripts and a chance to see an original one of 14th century journalist John Froissart’s Chronicles - a survivor of the battle of Agincourt.
