Did you think that was the motto of the U.S. Postal Service? Well that may be but this year it could also be the motto of the famous Stonehaven Fireballs. Despite a dreadful storm that caused serious flooding and damage, on December 15, in this Scottish, North Sea coastal town, the Stonehaven Fireballs Association has announced that the festival will go ahead on Hogmanay as normal.
Spectators will find a few changes though as there will be no access to the fireball route along the beach promenade, over the wooden bridge and along the board walk because of storm damage. Access to all viewing areas will be from the High Street, Arbuthontt Place or through Victoria Street/New Street.
Plan on arriving a bit early to drop something into the bucket collections along the route. It will give you a chance to find out more about this unusual ceremony and to contribute to the Stonehaven Flood Fund.
