The number of solo travelers is growing. More than one in ten travelers these days are hitting the travel trail on their own. And they aren't all looking for singles vacations either. Not surprisingly, the UK is full of terrific destinations for solo travelers

Language, laws and familiar culture make it one of the easiest countries to explore and discover on your own, even if  English isn't your first language. Find out why the UK is perfect for solo travelers and check out some tips and pointers for traveling on your own in England, Scotland and Wales.
