We've still got Halloween, Guy Fawkes and, of course, Christmas, to get through, but up in Edinburgh, they're already selling tickets for New Year's Eve 2012/13. Well, when you call it Hogmanay and turn it into a four day street party attended by hundreds of thousands of visitors and locals, it is never too soon to start planning.
This year, Edinburgh Hogmany organisers are giving away free tickets to all the events of the best New Year's celebration in the world to the first 1,000 ticket buyers who also land on Lucky 13 numbers when they buy their tickets. And tickets are already on sale at last year's prices.
