The campsites open at Bestival, the curated "boutique" Isle of Wight music festival, at midday tomorrow (Thursday). If you're really quick - and you have about £300 per adult and £150 per child to spare - there are actually a few posh campsites in the premium camping area, the Wild Copse, still available. If you already have tickets, get set to enjoy Stevie Wonder, Florence& the Machine, New Order, Sister Sledge, Gary Numan and dozens and dozens of acts - old, new and emerging this weekend.

Bestival is the last major event of the British summer music festival season. But it is by no means the last of the music, and performing arts festivals. Autumn is actually jam packed with great festival events. Starting Friday and continuing through Sunday, Birmingham Artsfest is the biggest free performing arts festival in the UK. Then, whether you are a fan of popular music, folk, classical, blues or jazz; theatre, comedy, street theatre, outdoor performance art or multimedia events, there's something going on somewhere in the UK throughout September, October and November.

Find out about what's on this Fall at Autumn's Top Arts and Music Festivals.
