Looking for something different to serve on your summer picnics or to imbibe under the summer stars? About.com's new guide to Culinary Travel, Alison Wellner, has collected some great summer recipes from About.com's Travel Guides and Food & Drink Guides for her Blog Carnival - The 36 Best Summer Treats from Everywhere, and from the looks of it, we're a pretty boozy bunch.

My contribution, Elderflower Panacotta, will suit teetotallers - though you could always add something stronger to the fruit coulis you serve with it. And, it's really more of a spring treat here in the UK, where in some years May can often pass for our summer.
