Make the Journey Part of the Fun and Take the Train

The UK and most of Europe are so well connected by train services. They are pretty easy to use and, if you plan ahead to get the best fares, can be a low cost way to get from A to B. They're also a better environmental choice than either cars or planes.

But, enough of all these worthy reasons, they're also a dead romantic and glamorous way to go. Making this point very clearly today, Susan Breslow Sardone, About.com's guide to Honeymoons and Romantic Travel, has gathered together great train journeys from About.com's travel guides all over the world into "Tracks:" A Train Travel Blog Carnival.

One of my favorite train journeys, the Eurostar from London to Paris, is included - 2 hours and 15 minutes between two of the world's top romantic travel destinations. Getty Images | UK Travel Blog | share on facebook | Twit This
