Bruce Springsteen is set to headline the Glastonbury Festival, scheduled this year from June 24 to 28. So far, Franz Ferdinand is the only other confirmed act announced for the 2009 mudfest.
Named International Music Festival of the Year at the Pollstar Concert Industry Awards, earlier this year in Los Angeles, Glastonbury is, once again, sold out long before the line-up is announced.
But all is not lost. It may still be possible to get your hands on a very limited number of cancelled tickets. The tickets will go on sale, on line at www.seetickets.com/g2009 at 9 a.m. (GMT) April 5.
To have a chance at these tickets, you must have uploaded your registration and photo at www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk before the ticket sale begins. Registration won't guarantee a ticket but you can't even try to buy one without it.
