Blog Carnival: Fun Adventures for Families

A family holiday in Britain doesn't have to break the bank - especially now, with the pound weakening against the dollar and other currencies. Still not convinced? Well maybe you'll want to look further afield (or closer to home) for family vacation ideas this year. Teresa Plowright, About.com's guide to family vacations, has polled About's travel guide community and they've come up with some spiffing suggestions that will allow you to do something really different this year. Toddler delights in New York City or whalewatching off Virginia Beach? How about a visit to MoominWorld in Finland or a family safari in Africa. Find these - and loads more great ideas - in the latest blog Carnival, Fun Adventures for Families
