Titchfield Abbey - A Ruined Monastery with Shakespearean and Royal Connections

Wednesday September 26, 2007

If you are following up one of The Pub Pundit's great pub recommendations, why not walk off a big pub lunch with a stroll among some scenic ruins.

Titchfield Abbey was a pilgrimage church for Medieval Royal newlyweds and might be where Shakespeare wrote some of his sonnets. Visiting it is also free!
